EUGENE, OREGON — Former University of Oregon Quarterback and Heisman Trophy Nominee Joey Harrington will be at Rennie’s Landing tonight from 4-7 PM making a guest appearance as a bartender, serving drinks to the Eugene-Springfield community.
Rennie’s Landing will be hosting happy hour during Harrington’s shift, offering $8 Dropshots and $12 pitchers of Hop Valley Brewing’s Rally in the Valley Tropical Citrusy Pale Ale. The popular Trivia Night will start immediately after Harrington clocks off, beginning at 9PM.
Rennie’s Landing is a longtime popular collegiate bar located on the University of Oregon campus on Kincaid Street.
Harrington is a former American football quarterback who played in the National Football League for seven seasons, primarily with the Detroit Lions. He played college football at Oregon from 1998-2001, where he was named Pac-10 Offensive Player of the Year as a senior, and was selected third overall by the Lions in the 2002 NFL Draft. Harrington spent his final three seasons as the primary starter for the Miami Dolphins and Atlanta Falcons, and a backup with the New Orleans Saints.
