Oregon Softball Made 13 Straight Wins by Sweeping California in Berkeley

The Ducks began the week with a 13-2 win in five innings at Pacific before heading to the Bay Area.

Kai Luschar was 3-for-3 with three runs scored while Allee Bunker was 3-for-4 with four RBIs in a 9-1 win over the Bears on Friday.


Bunker and Kedre Luschar each had two hits while KK Humphreys homered during a 5-3 win on Saturday. Oregon capped the weekend with a 8-5 win as Ariel Carlson went 3-for-4 with two runs scored.


The 14th-ranked Ducks improved to 35-11 overall and moved into a tie for second place in the conference at 14-7. Oregon wraps up the regular season by hosting No. 23 Utah at Jane Sanders Stadium this weekend.

BASEBALL

Oregon took two of three games against No. 12 Arizona State to move into third place in the conference at 13-8.


Oregon opened the weekend with a 11-5 win over ASU as Rikuu Nishida went 3-for-5 with two runs scored and two RBIs. Drew Cowley had two hits and five RBIs while Colby Shade had two hits, two runs, and two RBIs.


Shade, Jacob Walsh, and Gavin Grant each had three hits in a 16-10 win on Saturday. Grant and Josiah Cromwick each drive in three runs against the Sun Devils, who rallied to win the finale 9-6.


WOMEN’S GOLF

Oregon shot 8-under par to finish in second place at the Pac-12 Championships.


Minor Nagano shot 4-under par to tie for third while Anika Varma tied for ninth at 2-under par.
Oregon will play in the NCAA Regionals later this month.

MEN’S GOLF

Oregon finished fifth in the Pac-12 Championships at Stanford Golf Club.


Nate Stember shot 7-under par to place fifth. Owen Avrit and Greyson Leach both shot 1-under par to tie for 15th.


Oregon will head to the NCAA Regionals later this month.

Mason Strunk won the hammer at 214-1 during a meet at the Desert Heat Classic in Tucson, Ariz.


Jonah Tactay was second in the triple jump while Micah Williams was second in the 100-meters.

Harrison Canfield and Hunter Angove tied for fourth in the pole vault at 15-9 3/4.


The Oregon women got wins from Shelby Moran in the hammer, Jorinde van Klinken in the discus, Jaida Ross in the shot put, Lexi Ellis in the triple jump and Alysah Hickey in the long jump.


Aaliyah McCormick was second in the 100 hurdles while Lily Jones (100), Shaniya Hall (200) and Ella Clayton (400) were all third.


MEN’S TENNIS

Oregon’s season ended with a 4-0 loss to USC at the Pac-12 Championships in Ojai, Calif.


The Ducks opened the tournament with a 4-3 win over ASU as Joshua Charlton and Quinn Vandecasteele won in doubles along with Vlad Breazu and Luke Vandecasteele. Quinn Vandecasteele and Breazu won in singles.

Oregon’s season ended with a 4-2 loss against Colorado at the Pac-12 Championships. Sophie Luescher won a singles match while Madisen Olsen and Jo-Yee Chan won in doubles.
