EUGENE, OREGON — Check out these fun events happening this weekend in Lane County!

THURSDAY – Polybanderous @ 255 Madison

Polybanderous takes 255 Madison this Thursday, August 17th, at 7 PM for a night of live looper-based songs that blend alternative, soul, rock, & pop genres. Enjoy this live music alongside local wine! Cover is $5, and this event is 21+.

FRIDAY – Dive-in Movie: The Super Mario Bros. Movie

Splash! is hosting a special evening swim and movie event this Friday, August 18th at 9 PM after the doors open at 8:30 PM. Watch the Super Mario Bros. Movie on the outdoor sun deck, while you come and go from the pool. The cover for the movie is included in the regular drop-in admission. Blessed Mess BBQ and Wildcraft Cider Works will be on-site for you to purchase and enjoy!

SATURDAY – Black Cultural Festival

This Saturday, August 19th, at Alton Baker Park, the 3rd Annual Black Cultural Festival will be happening from 11 AM – 7 PM. This event will have food, fun, entertainment, a youth zone, a museum without walls, artists, and musicians. Volunteers are needed, and donations are another great way to support this event. Adult tickets are $15, youth and elderly are admitted free.

SATURDAY – Skate Party

A family-friendly skate party is happening this Saturday, August 19th, at the Bob Keefer Center. This party includes music, games, and fun for all ages. Join to party in style from 6 – 8 PM.

SUNDAY – Drag Brunch

Drag Brunch at Spectrum is happening this Sunday, August 20th, (and every Sunday) at Noon! This event is all-ages, dog-friendly, and admission is free for everyone. Breakfast being served is delicious, with many veg/vegan options, as well as blood marys and mimosas.
