FRIDAY – Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
Join Highlite for their office grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony! On Thursday, October 5th from 3-5 PM, come and partake in complimentary professional headshots by Highlite and beer sampling from Falling Sky Brewery! Confetti Crown Salon will also be there offering permanent jewelry and glitter hair extensions. Enjoy a tour of the District Coworking and Flex Office, too! Ribbon Cutting ceremony begins at 3 PM.
FRIDAY – Drag Takeover
Drag Takeover is happening at Old Nick’s Pub on Friday, the 3rd, from 6 – 8 PM. This Dinner & Drag edition of Drag Takeover features hosts Karress and Nicole, with special guests Ladel La Faye and Monique La Faye. Tickets for this renowned casted show are $10 online and $15 at the door.
SATURDAY – Minnesota @ The Big Dirty
Enjoy electronic music this Saturday, October 7th at The Big Dirty with a night of live music. Minnesota, Sitka, Matt Black, and Duality will all be performing between 8 PM and 2 AM. Enjoy drinks from the bar in this immersive music venue. This event is 21+, and the cover is $25 at the door.
SATURDAY – Herb Walk
Take an herb walk this Saturday, October 7th from 10:30 – 11:25 AM at GrassRoots Garden. Learn an introduction to the herbs that grow locally and flourish in Eugene. You’ll learn what they look like, tips on how to care for them, and where and how to use them. This knowledge on herbs is beneficial whether you live in an apartment/small space, have a conventional yard, or acres of land. This event is free!
SUNDAY – Cinnamon Brooms Workshop
Bring in fall and be creative during a Cinnamon Broom Workshop at Flux Crystal Boutique this Sunday, October 8th from 1 – 5 PM. During this class, embellish magic into a mini cinnamon broom that you get to create yourself. This workshop costs $15, and all materials are included.
