Lauren Short is the Owner and Creative Director of Highlite, a social media and marketing agency that specializes in stand out engagement and impressions. When she is not designing and promoting her wonderful clients, she can be found teaching group fitness classes at Lagree Plus or spending time with her dog CeCe. On the digital publication side of Highlite, she covers topics on Eugene news and updates, entrepreneurship, marketing, current events and pop culture.

ISABELLE MAGGARD – Event Journalist and Business Development Specialist
Isabelle Maggard is a Business Development Specialist at Highlite. She recently graduated with a degree in digital marketing from Lane Community College. Isabelle focuses on social media engagement and outreach for account growth. She also contributes a weekly article focusing on upcoming weekend events in Eugene.

STEVE MIMS – SPORTS JOURNALIST
Steve Mims has spent over 25 years as a sportswriter, including 21 years at The Register-Guard. He covered University of Oregon athletics from 2013-2020 and currently contributes to the Associated Press. Steve also teaches sports journalism at the University of Oregon School of Journalism and Communication.
